If you could do anything, what would you do?
You have the ability to manifest anything you want in your life, you just have to be able to see it. If you closed your eyes right now, what would you like to be doing right now?
My mother used to ask us, what is something that you could do all day even if you weren’t getting paid? What is something that you enjoy doing? Can you visualize yourself doing it?
About two years ago, I started a vision board, and when I started it I was apprehensive that it would work for me. At the time it was more so trying to find something to get me out of a dark place I was in, I had no hope and no direction for my life. The goal was to place things on my board that I wanted manifested in my life and place it somewhere I could see it every day. Before I knew what I would put on my vision board I knew I wanted to write a verse I had seen in my mother’s bible that reads:
“Aunque la vision tardara aun por un tiempo, mas se apresura hacia el fin, y no mentira; aunque tardare, esperalo, porque sin duda vendra, no tardara.” Habacuc 2:3
“For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end- it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay. Habakkuk 2:3
If you have no vision you have no future. In my darkest hour I know that if I was unable to see and hope for a future I would forever be lost. At the time it was a hope to feel, I felt lost after my mother died, and I needed a change fast.
Vision is defined as, “the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom.” All my plans for the future were on a specific timeline, and when those things did not come to pass in the time I thought they should suddenly I was hopeless. The challenge is to begin a new vision. As a person now living for today, and for right now; each day is a opportunity to either begin a new vision or continue.
The take away for this week, GET A VISION, decide what you want your life to look like, and believe that it will happen!
See you next week!
