Meditate

May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
    be pleasing in your sight,
Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Psalm 19:14

I’ve been spending a lot of time learning about meditation and attempting to make it a stronger fixture in my life. With so much going on in the world, and even my world I have found that I haven’t created a spiritual routine to follow, but today for whatever reason, this scripture came to mind.

This verse makes connect to three major things, the words that you speak, the thoughts of your heart, and the fragrance of your soul. If you remember nothing else remember this, what your mouth speaks matters because it is directly connected to the thoughts and meditations of your heart. Together your soul gives off a fragrance that is pleasing to God.

What will you speak over your life today?
